Zoho Creator workshop in London sold out success

The first full day UK Zoho Creator workshop on the 11th of May 2015 was a sold out success. The theme for the day was to build an App for a Wine Store – Manage inventory, Place Orders, Automatically Invoice the customer, etc.

 

The day was structured into 17 manageable sections, each part becoming more technical and complex:

 

  1. Create a Wine Store Management App
  2. Create an Order Form
  3. Access and Explore the App
  4. Create Inventory Form By Importing Data
  5. Link the Order Form and Inventory Form
  6. Determine Minimum Inventory Levels
  7. Configure Access to App
  8. Automate the Order Form
  9. Create the Order Form with SubForm
  10. Customize the App
  11. Fetch & Calculate Price for each Item
  12. Calculate Total Amount of the Order
  13. Check & Update Stock Availability
  14. Send Invoice Automatically
  15. Define Delivery Date based on Distance
  16. Create Cancel Order Button
  17. Create Dashboards using Pages

The day demonstrated the simplicity of the Zoho Creator drag and drop interface, then building to the scripting language within Zoho Creator (DELUGE). Zoho facilitated this workshop by bringing ten employees from Chennai, India and Texas,USA to present, support and provide one to one assistance.
